Zwei Menschen vierzehn Jahre nach "little boy" für einen Tag in der japanischen Stadt. Der Film “Hiroshima, mon amour" des französischen Regisseurs Alain Resnais schrieb Geschichte. Das Lied spiegelt die Melancholie der Bilder. Es ist 1977 auch das Lied, welches den späteren, synthetischen Klang von Ultravox vorwegnimmt, dabei aber sehr reduziert bleibt. Sebastian Mistrik hat die Studioversion mit Szenen des Films unterlegt und so eine schöne Synthese erzeugt. Die Live-Version ist eine spannende Interpretation des Sounds und gibt dem Lied eine weitere, eigenständige Note.

Two persons meeting for one day 14 years after “little boy“. Alain Resnais created a epic picture of a pessimistic view upon people. The song reflects that particular melancholy. The synthetic sound, for what Ultravox later became famous, is anticipated by this song, written 1977, in a pretty unique and reduced manner. A different bon mot is the live version, giving a distinct tone to it.
